Nocturnal Intellections was a website I put up originally so that I can learn how to modify and tweak WordPress and the other CMS applications I was testing for AgustinongPinoy. That is, before I would install a plugin or introduce changes into a WordPress theme, I would do it here first before repeating the process in a production site. Later, after I have mastered WordPress and Drupal and I no longer needed to “practise-tweak”, this site became like a “mannequin” that I used for previewing WordPress themes before I would use them in other sites. This was before I discovered that I could use my computer for that purpose simply by installing an application like XAMPP.
Today, “Nocturnal Intellections” has become my personal website. It is not like AgustinongPinoy or Biblista where I publish web pages mostly for instruction and for sharing my work. “Nocturnal Intellections” is a personal website in that it is here where I write about topics I care about but which people who know me in my work would not care about. Here, I blog about basketball, software applications that I try out and evaluate, and other things that cross my mind especially when I cannot sleep. If you would like to learn about what I think of a Scripture passage, go to Res Biblica. If you would like to know something about the Catechism or Catholic theology in general, go to AgustinongPinoy. If you would like to know what being a friar is like, visit the Mystical Geek. Whatever about me that could not be found in those sites, you may yet find here.
I like the Lakers, I listen to Kenny G, I draw cartoons and sometimes, I play with my guitar. I read the cartoon page more than the daily news, I like singing with a videoke and I watch NCIS and the three flavors of CSI…
Punch me, I bleed. I am human too.
