Born under the star of Capricorn, in the year of the Metal OX, I grew up to the music of the Beatles and witnessed the Ate Guy and Ate Vi fan-feuds, Toyota-Crispa rivalry, and the Thrilla in Manila on TV. Currently I am a friar of the Order of St. Augustine with some nine years of experience in webmastering and a lot more years in being a priest and a teacher. I am at the moment located somewhere in Laguna, Philippines, animating Basic Ecclesial Communities and teaching part-time. Maligaya VI Third Anniversary

Today we celebrate the third anniversary of the Maligaya VI community we established back in the year 2005.  Ben Tindoy, the then out-going President of our Olympia I chapel invited me to visit the Bible prayer group he and his group, the New Jerusalem community, were supporting there.  I went for a few nights of Bible prayer sessions before we celebrated our first Mass in a lot that was set aside for the Barangay office for that area.  That lot has continued to be the meeting place of the Maligaya community to this day.

Thanks to the Olympia I chapel headed by Ms. Merle Opena and the New Jerusalem community with Ate Flor who has been leading the Bible cell group meetings since the beginning, Maligaya VI continues to grow into one of the living communities of faith in our parish.
