About the Author

Born under the star of Capricorn, in the year of the Metal OX, I grew up to the music of the Beatles and witnessed the Ate Guy and Ate Vi fan-feuds, Toyota-Crispa rivalry, and the Thrilla in Manila on TV. Currently I am a friar of the Order of St. Augustine with some nine years of experience in webmastering and a lot more years in being a priest and a teacher. I am at the moment located somewhere in Laguna, Philippines, animating Basic Ecclesial Communities and teaching part-time. I run quite a few websites including AgustinongPinoy, Res Biblica, The Bible Workshop, the Collectanea Informatica and the Mystical Geek.

Old Requested Blogs

Old blogs especially when they informative are like old songs. They are sought and requested. I am once more making available the blogs from the old AgustinongPinoy Blogs and Bible Workshop. These have been requested because of the pages these offer on fundamentalists.
It took me quite awhile before I could find a new webhost that can accomodate these old blogs. You see, to transfer data from one web server to another can be very tricky. In the case of the blogs above, I had to export MySQL data into text files before I can reupload them into a different web server.
I had to close down the sites that presented the above-mentioned blogs because of spammers who like to do their thing on websites that are no longer being updated but are already indexed by search engines. Their purpose is to get their own links included whenever indexed blog pages receive a hit. I think it would be alright if said links led to something wholesome. The thing is spammers don’t have a conscience. When they try to sell a link, even if it led to a poker or porn site, they will not spare a religious-themed web/blog site.
Enough of that…
Instead of giving the URL to the old blogs, I’d just publish the links to the requested blogs from Otium Sanctum or the Mystical Geek. I am reviewing my old blogs anyway, so if I find those posts that even I think is worth rereading, I’ll just indicate them through a blog. So stay tuned… :-)
