Bible Journal

Angelfire may not be the ideal webhost, but it sure does know how to appreciate the work of former members.
I am in the course of preparing an article for the 10th Sunday of Ordinary (Year A) and since I know that I’ve written on the Gospel reading for that day quite a number of times, I tried to do a search for my old posts. I found one from AgustinongPinoy (http://www.agustinongpinoy.net/biblenotes/archives/2005/06/entry_5.html) and then to my surprise I found another one from a very old website I kept: from the Bible Journal (http://www.angelfire.com/me4/abet/bible ).
I started the Bible Journal the year I received a legitimate — not cracked — version of the CoffeeCup HTML editor. And since the only way I knew how to keep a website was through hardcore HTML, I posted short articles on the scripture readings for the day. This was in November of 2001 before I discovered other ways of posting short articles on the scriptures.
The Bible Journal was also my first attempt to create a templated website. It would become the basis for the kind of work I would later on do for the CSA-Bacolod website at http://www.geocities.com/agilawan. Right now, however, the advertisements of Angelfire make it difficult at times to access the Bible Journal (too many javascripts and popups). The Bible Journal is however one of the milestones in my biblical web apostolate. I will be referring to the articles there as a reference for newer articles.
